Women leaning a new skill of Willow Weaving

Post Covid 19 pandemic “The Battery Belles” women, with students from AIT, come together to learn the skill of Willow Weaving.

Willow Weaving is an ancient craft in the hands of women of today, opening the door to their creative expression by facilitating them to weave tangible garden items.  

Students work will be collectively displayed in Athlone as part of an Art Sculpture in 2022
